TAKEOFF 2026: An Exclusive Southern NCSY Shabbaton
Get ready for something Southern NCSY has never done before! TAKEOFF 2026 is an exclusive, elevated Shabbaton experience designed for the region’s standout teens who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, and passion. Taking place November 13–15 at the stunning Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, this unforgettable weekend will bring together an incredible group of teen leaders for luxurious accommodations, five-star dining, inspiring Shabbos experiences, and unique opportunities and surprises throughout the weekend. This isn't just another Shabbaton. It's a chance to celebrate our region's top teens, build meaningful connections, and experience Southern NCSY like never before! Space is extremely limited, and registration will only be open for a short window. With demand expected to be high, participants must select their roommates and bus transportation during registration and complete payment promptly to secure their spots. Unconfirmed registrations may be released to teens on the waitlist. This is one weekend you won't want to miss. THIS is your boarding call: YOur future is taking off!

The actual cost of this incredible weekend is $750 per person! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Southern NCSY and JSU are able to offer these significantly subsidized rates.

Important Registration & Payment Deadlines
- October 25: Early Bird registration closes. Full Early Bird deposit must be submitted.
- October 30: All Early Bird registrations must be paid in full.
- November 3: Registration officially closes!
Please note: Any Early Bird registration not paid in full by October 30 will be adjusted to the regular registration price.
Space is extremely limited, and registration may close earlier if we reach capacity!
Traveling by Plane?
Airfare is not included in the Shabbaton price. Teens requiring flights are responsible for their airfare, but we're happy to help coordinate flight bookings. Please contact your Chapter Director for assistance.

FRIDAY: Registration and check-in followed by inspiriational prayers, delicious food and more fun with your friends and advisors!
SHABBOS: A day of great food, singing, hanging out, thought provoking sessions, prayer services and more!
SATURDAY NIGHT: A dedication to the Hahn Family followed by an awesome Carnival, complete with booths, music and delicious carnival food!
SUNDAY: Very early wakeup so we can hit the road and have a full, exciting day at Seaworld Orlando! Returning Sunday night.

Southern NCSY Regional Shabbaton Transportation Policy
To ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all participants, Southern NCSY has established the following transportation guidelines for our regional Shabbatons:
- No Teen Driving
Teens may not drive themselves to or from any regional Shabbaton. If not taking one of the Southern NCSY buses or other modes of Southern NCSY-arranged travel, all participants must be dropped off and picked up by a parent, guardian, or another approved adult.
- Full-Time Participation
Attendance at a Shabbaton is a full-weekend commitment. Once a teen joins the program, they are expected to remain for the entire duration of the event, unless they have pre-registered for the no Seaworld ticket option.
- No Early Departures or Late Arrivals
Teens may not arrive late or leave early under any circumstances during Shabbat. No exceptions can be made for entering or exiting the premises on Shabbat by car, foot, or any other means.
- Extenuating Circumstances
If a participant has a legitimate extenuating circumstance requiring special accommodation, a parent must email Shani Muschel at muschels@ncsy.org at least 3 days prior to the event. Requests made after this window cannot be accommodated, and we cannot guarantee accommodation for all requests.
These policies are in place to protect our teens, maintain program integrity, and uphold halachic guidelines. Southern NCSY cannot assume liability for participants who arrive or depart outside of our established procedures or who attempt to drive themselves without proper authorization.
Thank you for helping us keep our Shabbatons safe, meaningful, and seamless for everyone involved.
POLICY REGARDING LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS
By joining the Shabbaton, you agree that the Orthodox Union and NCSY/JSU assumes NO responsibility for, and shall not be responsible or liable for, loss, damage or theft of personal luggage and/or any personal items over the course of the Shabbaton, including without limitation, on the bus, at the hotel or any activity venue. You understand that you should NOT bring with you expensive items, items of high sentimental or meaningful value, or items that cannot be replaced.
